Fasting 6 hours (only can drink water)<br \/><br \/>2. Only allowed to have meat, egg and drink water. Avoid foods high in sugar\nand carbonhydrate (e.g. rice noodle, bread, cereal, oat meal etc) one day\nprior to the day of examination.<\/p><p>3. Remember to bring your recent scans and report for doctor review (e.g. Xray, CT, MRI, PET\/CT if available)<\/p><p>4. Please wear clothes with no metal and zipper<\/p><p>5. Please discontinue insulin but not oral anti-diabetic medication (including\nmetformin) before 48 hours of the examination day.<\/p><p>6. Please bring along with your diabetic medicine (including metformin) and\ninsulin to the centre.<\/p><p><strong>Procedures<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The entire examination lasts for 2 hours.<\/li><li>Before the PET\/CT scan, a small amount of radioactive tracer is injected into the patient<\/li><li>After injection, patient need to rest for about one hour to absorb the tracer. \u00a0The scan will take about 30 minutes.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1. \u9700\u7a7a\u81796\u5c0f\u6642(\u53ef\u98f2\u7528\u6e05\u6c34) 2.
